Our Library Project
Despite the growing popularity of e-books, libraries stocked with printed books remain the preferred source of information for most readers the world over. The Sastra Dana Library Project aims at placing timeless Vedic literature, published by the BBT, in each and every library throughout the African continent. The project is driven by kind donations of patrons and well wishers.
Sastra Dana literally translated means ‘giving spiritual scripture in charity’. With the generous donations received thus far, the initiative has successfully placed hundreds of books in over 80 libraries in South Africa, Swaziland and Ghana.
Our target libraries range from university, school and public libraries to even libraries within prisons, hospitals or collections of a similar nature.
