The 6th Annual Bhaktivedanta Swami Lecture tackled “Ethical Leadership” under the microscope of Vedic wisdom.

The keynote speaker was Vrajabasi Das.

Echoes of the Past

The 4th Annual Bhaktivedanta Swami Lecture Series was held on the 7th of June 2016.

This year’s keynote speaker was His Holiness Bhakti Vinoda Swami.

The Lecture explores why technical reforms in social, judicial, political and economic structures have fallen short of achieving true transformation. And why a fundamental shift in consciousness is required to silence the echoes of the past.

Vanity Karma Wins Gold

“Vanity Karma: Ecclesiastes, the Bhagavad-gita, and the meaning of life,” by Jayadvaita Swami, has won the 2016 Benjamin Franklin gold award for the year’s best book in the “religion” category.

The award was announced by the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), the authority for the awards, at a ceremony on March 8 in Salt Lake City.

The IBPA is the largest publishing association in the United States.

“Vanity Karma” is published by the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust, the world’s largest publisher of India’s classic books of spirituality.
