Forgotten Art of Leadership

The Annual Bhaktivedanta Swami Lecture for 2015 was held on 25th March at the prestigious University of the Witwatersrand (Wits University). The focus for this year’s lecture was on the Forgotten Art of Leadership as it is considered a topical issue in organisations, businesses as well as countries all over the world.

The Keynote speaker for the evening was esteemed global leadership expert Bhuta Bhavana Das, a graduate from London School of Economics. Bhuta Bhavana Das holds a Master’s Degree in Politics and Sociology. He delivers seminars for graduates on personal development and leadership effectiveness, as well as training professionals and organizations in Eastern Vedic Wisdom. Bhuta Bhavana Das shared his personal experiences and realizations on the art of leadership, the characteristics and the qualities of a leader, as well as potential threats that may deter one from becoming an effective leader.
